BODY CONTOURING

Where Swedish massage is amazing, Hot Stone massage is the next level. Pictures don't explain... warm, smooth, oiled stones saturated in aromatherapy are used to do the massage rather than hands. The heat reaches those muscles you just can't get to relax, and you find yourself simply gone in the experience.

EXFOLIATING LYMPHATIC

As long as we are working on the lymphatic system, we should address the tissues suffering from the overload. The SKIN is the LARGEST ORGAN in the body. Did you know that? If you see dry, patchy, rough. calloused and flakey skin, chances are your body has been clogged and overworked for a long time. During this session, we use nourishing scrubs with essential oils to support rejuvenation. Consider adding Red Light Therapy to get yourself in balance. This can be booked on the same day.

MYOFASCIAL RELEASE

Think of scar tissue, thick, no motion or pliability to it and truly no longer the same skin you had before. If a tissue like that has infiltrated and "stuck" to your healthy muscle, the muscle can NOT function properly. In addition, the joints and kinesiology associated with that muscle are also deranged as a result. Myofascial Release is the answer. Red light therapy extremely beneficial used in conjunction with myofascial release, the ultimate solution.

CHIROPRACTIC

CHIROPRACTIC EXAM

FIRST VISIT. We need to determine if chiropractic care is suitable for you. We will discuss your concerns and health history. Orthopedic and neurological tests will help us know the best course of care. Dr. Amy will create a treatment plan that helps you reach your goals and maintain them.

MECHANICAL ADJUSTMENT

Similar to the activator, this is a machine Dr. Amy uses to deliver very fast, precise cavitation exactly in the line of drive needed to make the correction. It is gentle, so less post-adjustment soreness. Because the machine delivers the adjustment so fast, the body has no time to tense up allowing the adjustment with little to no discomfort to the patient.

MANUAL ADJUSTMENT

The classic chiropractic adjustment using hands to "push" the fixated joints to release. Dr. Amy prefers the mechanical adjustment as it is more specific and has less risk. We understand some people prefer this technique, but we encourage you to try the mechanical technique. Most people prefer it once they experience the results. Not everyone will qualify for this treatment. PLEASE NOTE: This is an additional $20.

EXTREMITY ADJUSTMENT

If your concern is not related to the spine, that would be an extremity adjustment. For example, a knee, elbow, shoulder, wrist, ankle, etc.

MICROCURRENT TREATMENT

A tool that uses tiny electrical currents to stimulate the muscles and skin. It increases collagen and elastin production, which gives the skin a more youthful appearance. Typically, it is used as a beauty treatment. At ChiroMedSpa it is used for therapeutic and cosmetic results.

SPOT TREATMENT

1/MIN

Microcurrent can be used in specific areas to penetrate muscle and create a reflex relaxation. Dr. Amy may discuss adding this to your treatment plan as a way to help your body progress faster and feel better longer.

SINUS TREATMENT

1/MIN

A beneficial treatment area is the sinuses. The current sends electric impulses into the sinus cavities breaking up congestion and stimulating the body to bring focus to the area, creating a bio-reaction that helps clear the dysfunction.

FULL BODY

Dr. Amy may find areas in the body that could benefit from the pinpoint electric current this offers. Usually spot treatment is sufficient, but some patients have greater needs. Dr. Amy will advise you if this is something you should consider.

FACE

Tiny electrical currents stimulate the muscles and skin of the face. It increases collagen and elastin production, which gives your skin a more youthful appearance. Best results seen when combined with Red-Light lamp therapy.

OTHER SERVICES

SPORTS PHYSICAL

Please bring the paperwork from the school or event. Dr. Amy will make sure your student is safe for the sport and sign the paperwork. PAPERWORK MUST BE FILLED OUT PRIOR TO THE APPOINTMENT. We do not schedule time for that, and Dr. Amy cannot sign off with unknown information.

KINESEOTAPING

A special type of stretchy tape is applied to the skin in an area of dysfunction or injury. It offers support, reduces pain and inflammation and creates stability so the patient feels better as the body heals. The tape usually lasts about one week. Dr. Amy will advise you when to return for re-application.

FACE BEAUTY TAPING

DID YOU KNOW... The face is made of muscles, and those muscles can be trained to give you a face lift?! Why go under the knife when you can learn how to do this at home? We will teach you the technique, provide take-home instructions and the appropriate tape for the sensitive facial tissue.

LAB TEST

We offer urine testing to rule out UTI. Back pain can be associated with a UTI, so Dr. Amy may have you take the test if your symptoms appear to be possibly related.
